***06/2011, project abandoned due to a "friend" not getting me the title I paid him for 18 months ago.***

1985 Mustang; originally 4 cyl, Jalepeño Red with red interior.

Purchased January 2010 and just now getting around to it a year later...

As of March 2011:

stripped out the interior,

scraped off the already peeling clearcoat,

added pin on hood and decklid,

threw some chrome pony wheels on it,

and modded a headlamp housing for air inlet.

I really need to get that floor pan taken care of...

April 3, 2011:

Marked the dash for trimming...  scared to begin.

April 17, 2011:

Thank you Junior for helping me trim out the dash.  We didn't even need beer!  Wierd!

May 1, 2011:

Junior almost killed me with a spring in the face, but we got the K member out and the AJE unit tempoararily in place.

...found a rabbit's nest in the driver side fender, and took a broom to the underside, clearing out about 5 lbs of dirt road remnants.
Got the stock rearend out and also completely removed the parking brake cables.

The car is now down to just the shell.  It gets worse before it gets better, right?
